What level of English should I have?

In order to read and understand the course texts clearly, as well as to have discussions and cooperation with classmates, a certain level of English proficiency is needed. We expect you to have at least one of the certificates of TOEFL iBT over 60, TOEIC over 650, or IELTS over 5.0. Please let us know if you are a native English speaker.

 

How can I get to NTHU Nanda Campus?

NTHU Nanda Campus is quite near Hsinchu Bus Station and Hsinchu Train Station. You can get to our campus by taxi or bus. Also, you can just take a walk from the stations to school.

Taxi: About 5 to 10 minutes. NT$100-NT$120

Bus: Bus number 72/73. NT$15

Walk: About 15 to 20 minutes.

 

How can I apply for accommodation?

All foreign students will have priority to be assigned a space in on-campus dormitories. Multiple types of rooms are available for graduate students to choose from. Foreign students can submit applications to the Division of Student Housing. A housing notification will be sent to you prior to your arrival. Students can apply for rooms with an air-conditioning at a higher price. Rooms with air-conditioning also involve extra utility fees.

What if I miss the deadline of application? When will this Master’s Program recruit students fot next cohort ?

We admit students to the program every two years. That is, the second cohort of this program will begin in 2021.
