Confirm You're Eligible

• 1st Semester Exam must be completed by January 31第一學期：口試須於 1 月 31 日前完成
• 2nd Semester Exam must be completed by July 31第二學期：口試須於 7 月 31 日前完成

Prerequisites: / 報考條件：

• All required credits must be completed by the end of the exam semester.所有必修學分須於口試當學期結束前修畢。
• A thesis draft must be ready and approved by your advisor.論文草稿須完成並獲指導教授核准。

Coordinate with Your Advisor

• Discuss the proposed date, time, and committee members with your advisor.與指導教授討論口試日期、時間及口試委員人選。
• Personally contact each proposed committee member to confirm their willingness and availability.親自聯繫每位口試委員，確認其意願與時間是否配合。

Submit Your Application

📌Online Application / 線上申請：

1. Log into the Academic Information System登入校務資訊系統
2. Go to Application System of the Oral Defense → Start to apply進入「學位考試申請系統」→ 點選「開始申請」
3. Thesis Authorization : Simultaneously visit the NTHU Thesis & Dissertations Repository to complete thesis authorization and set your thesis publication date.

📌Documents to submit to the Program Office (hard copies) / 須繳交至學程辦公室（紙本）：

• Oral Defense Checklist (original, signed by advisor)口試檢核表（正本，指導教授簽名）
• Application Form for Master Degree Exam碩士學位考試申請表
• Advisor Approval Form (download from AIS, print after registering)指導教授同意書（從校務資訊系統下載，完成申請後列印）
• Full Transcript — all semesters (vending machine at General Building I or Admin Bldg, Nanda campus)歷年成績單（可至綜合大樓一樓或南大校區行政大樓一樓自動列印機印製）
• Certification of Academic Research Ethics Education (AREE) Course學術研究倫理教育課程完成證明
• Application for Delayed Open Access of Thesis (if needed)論文延後公開申請書（如需延後公開）

Send Committee Appointment Letters

Email the Letter of Appointment to all committee members, confirming the date, time, and location. (Letters can be sent via AIS; request hard copies from the Program Office if needed.)

Pick Up Materials from Program Office

• Receipts for committee fees (including transportation)口試委員費用收據（含交通費）
• Graduate Thesis Similarity Confirmation Form研究生論文相似度確認表
• Advisor Approval Letter指導教授同意書

Documents to Bring (Hard Copies)

Print one copy per committee member unless noted: / 除特別說明外，每位委員各準備一份：

Submit to Program Office

• Score Sheet of Oral Defense (graded & signed)口試評分表（評分並簽名）
• Average Oral Defense Grade Form (graded & signed)口試成績平均表（評分並簽名）
• Final Thesis/Dissertation Review Form (copy)論文審定書（影本）
• Advisor Approval Form (copy)指導教授同意書（影本）
• Thesis/Dissertation Affidavit (signed)論文聲明書（簽名）
• Committee fee receipts (signed)口試費用收據（簽名）

Upload Final Thesis to NTHU Library

1. Review formatting requirements: Library Submission Guidelines閱讀格式規定：圖書館繳交說明
2. Upload your thesis to the NTHU Library system.將論文上傳至清華大學圖書館系統。
3. Await the Library's review and the "System Letter of Verification" email.等待圖書館審核完成，收到「系統驗證通知信」。

Submit Bound Copies of Final Thesis

Prepare four (4) hard-bound copies following the NTHU Thesis Format Regulations.

The following must be bound inside the thesis (signed in blue ink): / 以下文件須裝訂於論文內（藍筆簽名）：

• NTHU Authorization to Copyright of ETD (Electronic Thesis/Dissertation)清華大學電子論文著作權授權書
• NTHU Authorization to Copyright of Thesis/Dissertation清華大學紙本論文著作權授權書
• National Central Library Authorization to Copyright of ETD國家圖書館電子論文著作權授權書
• NTHU Master Thesis Advisor Approval Form (copy)清華大學碩士論文指導教授同意書（影本）
• NTHU Master Thesis Oral Defense Form (copy)清華大學碩士論文口試審定書（影本）

Complete the Graduation Process

1. Read the Graduation Procedures for Graduate Students first.請先閱讀研究生畢業離校程序。
2. Log into the Academic Information System and initiate the "Graduation Process" — complete all steps online.登入校務資訊系統，啟動「畢業離校程序」，完成所有線上步驟。
3. Bring the required documents to the Program Office:攜帶以下文件至學程辦公室：
   • Library approval email (notification that your thesis was accepted)圖書館核准通知 Email（論文審核通過通知）
   • 2 hard-bound copies of the thesis精裝論文 2 本
4. Submit 2 hard copies at the Library circulation desk.至圖書館櫃台繳交 2 本精裝論文。
5. Submit 1 hard copy (packaged by the Program Office) at the Division of Registration.至註冊組繳交 1 本精裝論文（由學程辦公室包裝）。
