• 1st Semester Exam must be completed by January 31第一學期：口試須於 1 月 31 日前完成
• 2nd Semester Exam must be completed by July 31第二學期：口試須於 7 月 31 日前完成

Prerequisites: / 報考條件：

• All required credits must be completed by the end of the exam semester.所有必修學分須於口試當學期結束前修畢。
• A thesis draft must be ready and approved by your advisor.論文草稿須完成並獲指導教授核准。

Coordinate with Your Advisor

• Discuss the proposed date, time, and committee members with your advisor.與指導教授討論口試日期、時間及口試委員人選。
• Personally contact each proposed committee member to confirm their willingness and availability.親自聯繫每位口試委員，確認其意願與時間是否配合。

Submit Your Application

📌 Online Application / 線上申請：

1. Log into the Academic Information System (AIS)登入校務資訊系統
2. Path: Academic Information System → Application System of the Oral Defense → Start to apply「校務資訊系統」→ 研究生學位考試 → 登錄作業
3. Thesis Authorization: Simultaneously visit the NTHU Thesis & Dissertations Repository to complete thesis authorization and set your thesis publication date.

• Oral Defense Checklist (original, signed by advisor)口試檢核表（下載，指導教授簽名）
• Application Form for Master Degree Exam (Printing from AIS, and signed by your advisor)碩士學位考試申請表（從校務資訊系統列印後請指導教授簽名）
• Advisor Approval Form (Printing from AIS, and signed by your advisor)指導教授推薦書（從校務資訊系統列印後請指導教授簽名）
• Full Transcript — all semesters (vending machine at General Building I or Admin Bldg, Nanda campus)歷年成績單（可至綜合大樓一樓或南大校區行政大樓一樓自動列印機印製）
• Certification of Academic Research Ethics Education (AREE) Course學術研究倫理教育資源中心修課證明

Letters of Appointment for committee members

Email the Letter of Appointment to all committee members, confirming the date, time, and location. (Letters can be sent via AIS; request hard copies from the Program Office if needed.)

Upload Final Thesis to NTHU Library

1. Review formatting requirements: Library Submission Guidelines閱讀格式規定：圖書館上傳說明
2. Upload your thesis to the NTHU Dissertations & Theses Repository.將論文上傳至清華大學博碩士論文庫。
3. Await the Library approval email.等待圖書館審核完成，收到核准通知信

Submit Bound Copies of Final Thesis

Prepare four (4) hard-bound copies following the NTHU Thesis Format Regulations.

Complete the School-Leaving Procedures

1. Read the School-Leaving Procedures for Graduates first.請先閱讀研究生畢業離校流程。
2. Log into the Academic Information System and initiate the "Graduation Process" — complete all steps online.登入校務資訊系統，啟動「畢業生離校程序」，完成所有線上步驟。
3. Prepare four hard copies of the thesis.準備紙本論文四份。
4. Bring the required documents as below to the Program Office:攜帶以下文件至學程辦公室：
   • Library approval email (notification that your thesis was accepted)圖書館核准通知 Email（通知您的論文審核通過）
   • 2 hard-bound copies of the thesis精裝論文 2 本
5. Submit 2 hard copies at the Library front desk.至圖書館櫃台繳交 2 本精裝論文。
   If you apply for embargo of thesis, submit the original Application and supporting documents together with the two printed copies (No binding required.) 論文如果有申請延後公開，請一併檢附延後公開申請書以及相關證明文件。（無須裝訂）
6. Submit 1 hard copy (together with the documents from the Program Office) at the Division of Registration.至註冊組繳交 1 本精裝論文（含學程辦公室檢附之文件）。
